Marc R. Leduc, MD, FACS

Dr. Marc R. Leduc MD, F.A.C.S. is a top Las Vegas Bariatric surgeon practicing at the Surgical Weight Control Center of Las Vegas. He receive his bachelor's degree in biological sciences from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and earned his medical degree from Tufts University school of medicine in Boston. After medical school, Dr. Leduc served as an officer in the United States Navy as a flight surgeon. He served in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom and earned a Navy Achievement medal and an Air Medal. He completed his surgical training at Christiana Care in Newark, DE, and his minimally invasive and bariatric training at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA. Dr. Leduc is a member of the American Medical Association, he is a Fellow of the American College of Surgeons, the American Society for Metabolic and Bariatric surgeons (ASMBS), and served on a committee for the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES). In his free time he enjoys proctoring other surgeons in robotic cases, he is an avid skier, and loves water sports and fitness, as well as being active with his daughters. He performs weight loss operations in both laparoscopic and robotic techniques, and deals with surgical management of Acid Reflux disease (GERD). He wants to help people attain a healthier lifestyle so they can live longer and more active lives.
